MDF Successfully Staged Pers Lab: Mga Kwentong Hotdog Fundraiser
Muntinlupa Development Foundation (MDF) having helped communities acquire homes, livelihood opportunities, and proper nutrition, now hopes to contribute to the holistic formation of the country’s future leaders as they pursue excellence through sports, music, and the visual arts.
MDF, in partnership with Tuloy Foundation Inc., successfully staged its fundraiser, Pers Lab: Mga Kwentong Hotdog last August 3 at Tanghalang Haribon, Insular Life Corporate Centre, Alabang, Muntinlupa City.

Pers Lab: Mga Kwentong Hotdog is an original play based entirely on the songs of the known band, Hotdog. Pers Lab reminisced the much-loved Manila Sound of the 1980s. Woven around the catchy hit songs of Hotdog: Manila, Annie Batungbakal, Miss Universe ng Buhay Ko, and Bongga Ka Day, among others, narrated the story of the thrill and the innocence of teenage love. The roles were ably performed by students of the Tuloy Performing Arts Program.
Pers Lab was performed twice on the same day. A 3:00 pm matinee show was staged especially for the musically-inclined students of Pedro E. Diaz High School and Muntinlupa Science High School. This was followed by an 8:00 pm gala for the general music-loving public who have clamored a repeat from its premiere run last February.
The play was graciously supported by Pioneer Insurance, My Diamond, Pilates Manila, Tie Me Up Buttercup, M & H Food Corporation, Alog & Company, Inc., Kenjie Tei, Del Rosario & Del Rosario, Nu Vida Agri Products, Inc., Dona Jovita Garden Resort, Sydenham Laboratories Inc., and Gardenia Bakeries Philippines, Inc.
The proceeds of the fundraiser will enable the foundation to continue its service and legacy to the Muntinlupa communities. Further, Pers Lab is a small step that can only lead to giant strides in the future pursuant to arts.
